The game is really fun. Too bad i cant flip the picture cos u've to turn the phone sideways when u play anyway. Love the pic. The characters in the pic look relaxed. Nice place to be in.

Haven used japanese for a long while. Taking a break from japanese dramas and anime altho they remain my fav. So is the sentence structure correct? i dont know.

Next to spar chinese, jus nice the context of the conversation allows me to use the idioms. Ever since sec sch, haven written in mandarin all these while. Kinda weird even tho its not uncommon that i converse in mandarin. Honestly the chinese shld know mandarin. Both a strength n a weakness to be bilingual.

Yes i worked my leg muscles to bring myself down the stairs n out of the house after some stoning time at my fav dining table with a cup of coffee, sometimes with tau sa pia. Checked in at the bus stop then at the train station. Click on my more frequently used apps, with whatsapp n ipod; games n news.
So far i like this app. Posterous.
Simple is the way to go. Great interface. Other than the con of not being able to edit, it'll be good if we can add frens' sites within the app. Not just creating own sites. Why would one need numerous sites?

One thought of the morning n that's it. Reached the destination in at most 30 min which i aint conplaining abt the commuting time. Stepped off the train n the day begins.

Became recent conversation topics. These r fads. Like "boomz", "i dont know what to say" with foot stomping n "pursuant to clause_,section 7a..." urg, for those 2 days i can regurgitate that out but now i cant. Fads. No more circulation once its novelty dies out. the choice of words make a difference to lure attention. Freq of usage of apocalypse vs end of the world, sacrosanct vs pious or unprofane, trepidation vs fear, emeritus vs retired, ethos vs beliefs. Subtle differences. Does that apply to mandarin? It can make a diff if u do a direct translation. Strange language.

A last min decision on that morning. Visit to sentosa after a long time. Extremely hot weather but it's the company that matters. Entertained. The eyes by the scorchingly hot sun, blue yet cloudy sky n greenish blue sparkling sea, yellowish grainy sand n the green coconut and palm tree leaves swaying in the breeze. The nose by the seawater smell. The ears by familiar voices laughing and chatting. The mouth by the refreshing cool sweet packet drinks. The skin drenched in sweat but accompanied by the occassional gentle sea breeze n of cos the airconditioner when we took shelter in shops. Imagine a world without the 5 senses. 怖い。interpretable? It means scary.

Fav pastime of all

It's stoning. Reading back all my posts, almost every post has at least one error, be it spelling or grammatical. I know some cant stand it. When there're too many of those, it gets on my nerve too. But it isnt too bad after having mastered the skill of brushing irritants off since schling days. It's like some pple cant stand untidiness, or even just the number at the top right corner of the mail icon on the iphone. I can choose to be indifferent to these, all started with having to study in noisy places. Honestly this skill helps, in this hectic society. Just stone, in nicer terms, meditate. The ability to shut off from your surroundings or rather just the irritants. Instead focus on the selected ones, while stoning, you may realise more things happening around u more than u've ever noticed. The smallest thing but yet always around. The reflection of the clouds in the water in the canal. 簡単ね、でもきれいだ, and in english, simple but pretty.

Imapmycyclingtrip

This time covered 15.44 km. Nice route back tamp neighbourhood. The old bfast shop is still there, round the corner is still the small minimart n provision shop.
Then to the block is the front slope where we used to run about, waited for papa to come back home from work, waited for the dreaded bus to some learning sch in paya lebar, and of cos the midnight joss paper burning with crickets hunting for our jinlongyu. The mama shop where we used to buy mamee n icy tube is still there. To the park where we used to cycle, play at the playgrd n walk home alone when mama couldnt pick us up from sch. N to my beloved pri sch with the front gate n the bball court; the back gate n the platform where we used to play weird games; fence where the sci garden is. Next taking another route to the town council. Newspaper stand is still there by the road, dunno if it's the same man. Tuition centre no longer there. All these, 11 years ago. Nostalgic. Time flies.

Catching up during the extended wkend

Took an oil frm polling day on monday and then today happy vesak day! Sadly i'e to clear ny email. Abt 2 hrs per day so not too bad. And finally watching the number which hover around 150 to 60 and then to 1. Omg what an achievement. I really need to prevent backlogging which causes the snowball effect. And yes im comitting the number crunching sin again

Numbing numbers, obscuring ourselves-frm the nyt

Finally get down to my first run in months. Not as if the last one before this was part of any regime. Since i got the gear alr, headphones, nike free n the phone which maps and records status of my run. Slow but at least kick start something. Question now is whether it is sustainable.

Cha soba

Finally get to buy. Wanted to cook this as an alternative to maggie mee. Healthy buckwheat noodles. Easy to prepare. Got furikake as well for flavour. Yummy shall find one day to prepare it. Planning to have a sunny side up as side dish.

Saturday morning

It really feels good to slp Without the alarm. Even if i wake up automatically, i know i can nap again later in the afternoon. Lazy day. A non working day. A wkend. 1pm in the afternoon. Gloomy sky. Lying on the bed with the iphone, trying to revive the mood n habit of blogging like when in uk alone 5 yrs ago. Time flies.
