Cheap thrill on a workday
Normal workday. Thanks for the lame dialogues. Including mr brown's on simi. Relating to siri. Laughters. Oops, GG sure disturb those who are either slping or catching some peace to work, shrugs. It's lunch hr and office, well despite the need for some etiquette, it's still a public place la. shld jus pick up the skill of shutting off the surroundings. It is most of the time disturbing anyway, even if it is for work purpose. But still we shld nv try to go lunch earlier n then work during lunch. The brains are alr trained and accustomed not to function properly at this hour alr. Or perhaps it is due to overdose of the morn mtg. Sigh. Haunting.
And jus when I was really sianz n when the level of motivation drops to the lowest, work still continues, sent out some emails, n then i saw the amazing email reply to my query, promptly. Status? Approved, but on the post it note! I practically burst out luffing. Omg. I realised how much i missed the conversations revolving ard dear oliver sometimes. Even with the overdose duing kk trip. Totally cute. Have to send for re approval lor. Imagine how to apprise him, sry can u sign again? Cos u sign on the post it note last time. Pengz. N the email reply was so innocent, jus stating the facts. Oliver's power. Hope all are doing fine, at least enuff to survive or tide over? U all seem Kinda splitted up now but hope to piece it back tog during meet ups.
And so finally joo can share some same sentiments with me on how red works. Fast texting, this explains how grp chats can have badges at amazing numbers, but im contributing to that only once in a blue moon. Sry that u have to summarise for me during meet ups or separate msges to catch my attn. but honestly i can nv catch up with those. Alr imposs during wkend, nt to mention wkdays. Gd luck with the switch tho. It really isnt the best place to work in. Sadly Life goes on.

After effects of nature therapy
Gaining back to sg pace but still trying to maintain inner peace. Yup was reminded not to discharge too fast n definitely has to 紧记在心. It should last at least till my next trip. Basically jus one rule of thumb, hate less, like more. Treat the sardine packed train as a shadow at the back of the mind, try to ignore the times when rowdy pple cut u off during conversations, at a decibel which is impossible not to be heard by those miles away and those who enjoy putting pple down. cant control others n the environment, but one can manage oneself. Shld be easy, really not a big challenge.
And so the to do list is now filled up. Trying to minimise the drastic change frm europe when the to do list is at most filled for the day. Amidst the wedding frenzy for the next 2 mths, discussions n preps n banquets will be occupying the wkends. Tho i seek tranquility, i will search for fun filled energy as much as i can frm this packed but hopefully short term.
Focus on the good to fill the 'likes' jar.
The way the situation of slight damage on the rented car caused by a hit n run car was really well handled by a fren. True to an extent that anything money can solve is not a problem. Composed despite external turmoils. Unfortunate event.
Thanks for the grelims show which i totally trust that it is for KIDS and indeed HEARTWARMING. After the show, i scruntinised the dvd cover, for ages 15 n above. These r teens, not kids. And yes it is definitely a new definition for me to have the heart warmed like that. Really funny.
reading frens' blog entries is a pleasure. Interesting descriptions and mood when penning those activities. Is there a difference in blogging for urself, for unknown readers, for frens, for families, for juniors/kids? So what and who am i blogging for? I am soliloquizing, doesnt matter who read. jus feel like translating thots n memories to words which i can read back in the future.
Back to the nature, i require the energy to seek and get to nature. Refresh n reload when the energy is almost out.

Halting every nw and then in the darkness of germany
On train to frankfurt. Shld have reached by now, 337am. Found it stop at mannhein for almost an hr. For a moment, thot got on wrong train, cos it doesnt have an intermediate stop at mannhein. Cant slp anymore. Started moving abit then move back to the station again. N when finally back on the move, It is stopping every now n then along the way. I hope that the train isnt breaking down. Else would be serious delay. Cross fingers. Bored with the apps alr, well good time to switch back sg time tho.
And so the zombie state thruout. Think dozed off for 15 min at abt 7 am in frankfurt airport. Amazing how time can jus pass while doing nothing. Unless u consider staring into blank space doing something. Went out once in a while for the cold air, hoping to be more refreshed by breathing in the autumn air. The rest is cramped up in the squashed seat on the jet plane and heading home. Back to the old environment or new one depending on the mind.

Extraordinary interlaken
Switzerland so far remains as my fav country since 5 yrs back. Tho i guess new zealand may be comparable. What else can beat a place with snow capped mountains and clear bluish green water in the rivers n the lakes sparkling under the sun. With nice cooling refreshing air and drinking water. With pretty wooden houses amidst the clouds n huge patch of grassland. Tops it all with the pretty autumn scenery of golden leaves.
Pple speak a mixture of italian, french, german and english. How cool. Pple from the bus n train captains and conductors to those behind counters at the shops and f&b outlets, working happily. Makes me wanna visit bhutan too. Hope to bring back this style of living if sg weather n pple do not get the better of me. Aim to obtain self realisation then.
Jungfrau is still too ex to mount at fr 182, height of ard 4100m, but visitors can only up to ard 3500m. The judgement of being worth gg up doesnt change after 5 yrs =(. Dainty freiburg amidst schwarzwald
Simply luv the train ride, with the vast grassland below the clear blue sky littered with white fluffy clouds. Beauty of autumn, leaves are partly green, yellow, orange n some red. A couple of houses come into view once in a while, while the moving train is guided faithfully by the tracks. On the reclined seat in the carriage and the songs playing from the phone, watching the changing views thru the window. The sky is then slowly taken over by the dark clouds, small little raindrops started pattering on the glass windows, orchestrating with the throttling train, forming the backgrd sound of the music coming frm the ear piece. Perfect ambience for zoning out. Eye candies are a bonus of cos, one jus left at stuttgart hbf. We've abt 50 more min to go.
N here finally we arrived. A Uni city. It says it is a wine town as well. Temp dropped to 9. N it rained. did some
grocery shopping n visited a couple museums.
Nice weather the next day. Spent the morning at the seepark. After an hr exploring the park, spent another hr jus sitting on the wooden bench, slightly moist from the morning dew but it quickly evaporated under the warm morning sun. The ducks and swans are out sunbathing too. Scenic view with the lake n the birds, green and yellow foliage ard the lake ,the black forest loom behind the bright coloured leaves, then the blue sky and white clouds. Soft chattering from the pple on the next bench, birds chirping, steps of pple strolling or jogging or walking their dogs. Someone commentating thru the mic of some carnival by bmw, which seem to echo off the black forest from across the lake. The cooling air neutralised the sun's warmth. Some band performing in the restaurant on the left. Pple cycling and pple feeding the birds with crumbs and some others controlling the sailing boats remotely. No wonder pple can jus sit in the park the whole day without feeling bored. Wonder if the elderly do this everyday. Serenity.
Next to titisee, getting nearer to schwarzwald, the black forest, hiked abit. Real steep slope with the tall coniferous trees. Pretty. alr started shedding their leaves. Titisee is jus a bigger version of the seepark lake. The black forest cake doesnt taste nice tho =(

Cosy nuremberg
Seems like york with rows of houses and cobbled streets in the old town, all the way to the main market square and then up to the imperial castle. Nice little cosy town but nothing splendid with the wow factor. Except perhaps for the wall still standing, forming the city centre. The castle cant fight with those i've seen in england and scotland. Have to pay for the guided tour so as to enter the rooms which there's only that in german! Interesting display of the weaponry thru the different eras in the museum, other than the "do not touch", all others r ONLY in german. Unfrenly really.
The marriage merry go round fountain is unique tho. Bitter-sweet marriage life, describing from the first stages of ardent love leading to exhausting marital rows right thru to the deathbed.
Like sg, nice to live in but not to tour.

Arty Praha
4 plus hrs train to prague. new town n old town. Night view of charles bridge. Indeed the best view in town. Windy, seagulls flying above, vltava river water whooshing below. The statues stood still along both sides of the bridge on which all kinds of activities take place. Pretty arty farty city centre, cos of the architecture and the czechs are friendlier pple for sure. Enjoyed the temp, and the paintings. Tat ends the day.
Didnt slp well. Our flat mates were up cooking n drinking at 1am, one of them was kind enuff to close our door for us. Np i can slp thru that. Then at 345 when we need the restroom, the door handle broke! Locked out. Crap. Thinking of ways to open that door n even climbing the window. Searched for all we have from the recep n finally a number. Called for help. Cant fall aslp after that till 6 i guess n woke up at 7.
Saw charles bridge from another bridge properly. Prague castle, nothing much tho. Pork knuckles n pizza for lunch. The former is under czech cuisine?! This i dunno. The rest are too meaty, decided to pass one what seems like beef stew.
Found the coach stand. Amazed tht the luggage door was opened at 530pm sharp. Cos they were refusing to let the pax to go up the bus n wait, they'd rather smoke. =( blogged this on bus to nuremburg, gg back to germany. Sky's turning dark. Must be the coffee that is keeping me awake...

Colourful bear mascots for the restaurants everywhere.
Nice main hauptbahnhof. Wouldnt say they focus on good service, gave the info tho not in the most pleasant attitude. Walked alot. Honestly nothing special except for the history. The roads were marked of where the wall dividing the east n the west used to stand. Horrible place. Horrible scenes, just 2 decades ago. Brandenburg gate which was on the east side before the wall was torn down. Currywurst and berliner pilsner for lunch.
Den to the Hohenschoenhausen Prison: A Stasi Prison used to detain political prisoners, off the city centre, some 109 cells vs 120 interrogation rooms, copper wire lined along the walls vs having 2 voice recorders to trick prisoners into "off records chitchat" sigh how evil. How scary, that kind of living conditions!
Out of the restricted zone n into the civilised world. Alexanderplatz' biergarten. Very cool to have pure bred berliner sitting with us. V limited english but ya like what they say music and beer, everyone understand. Real uber great band, great music that string all the hearts into one. The pple sing and dance and drink on the count of what seem to be 3 cheers. Heartwarming atmosphere. Bananen weizen n paulaner festbier. Pilsner's nicer. That more or less sums up berlin.

Jetaffair on children's day
Thanks aunts n cute little cousins for the fun few hrs before departure. N of cos the surprise pretty young lady. Bro's fren..Hmm...interrogations time.
6 hrs of flight so far. Covered 2 shows. Monte carlo and wild target. The former reminds me of white chicks. A real pretty imposter this time tho. Selena gomez, with 2 charac frm gossip girl, cassidy n messer. From texas to paris and monte carlo then romania. Nice scenes captured. Shall plan romania in any next europe trip. Celebrity appeal, average plot tho. The latter starring a 我行我素的 emily blunt. Average show too. Nothing much on the menu. N i jus cant slp.
Finally did the phoenix. Haha 名师出高徒. The finishing part is how imba. Definite sense of achievement, the last weave has to be done meticulously, one slip means 功亏一篑. I was like holding my breath, chanting not to break apart, n then the final pull. Fun, happy for the success. No cutter on board the plane, wings n beaks not yet trimmed but tada, still they look awesome. Thanks for imparting the skill!
