Now on the return flight back to sg on 19 aug 2014, 1545. Delayed departure. Decided to get the trip chronicled in the blog, too tired to write every night in the hotel. Or too lazy. Tho i like to reminisce, the preference is to snuggle under the blanket in the comfy hotel while channel switching, hoping to find some interesting local shows or international blockbusters, so end up digging into the memories to recall what we encountered.
Upon alighting from the plane, proceeded to find food. Ate vegetarian ramen at their food court, not bad but the serving of vege is too generous so much so that really phobia, no vege anymore. Cabbage and 2 more types of greens, not much mock meat. After that, to the arrival hall to purchase 国光客运的车票. Third time visiting taipei but still rather 生疏 to their tpt transport system. Dropped off at a bus stop nearest to the 捷运 so that we can change to 新北投 where our hotel is. Their hanyu pinyin is strange, rmb at the immigration counter, the officer was asking what is the hotel's name cos my handwriting on the disembarkment card is too atrocious. Chyuan du spring hotel. I was trying desperately to pronounce as chuan or quan. Yes it is the latter. At 北投捷运站，we change to a super slow poke train to 新北投站. Nicely themed and decorated with nature and hot springs, supposed to be like the sentosa monorail for sighseeing la, thats why so slow. Anyway by the time we reached there it is 10+pm alr i think. And again i dont get why is the divider to the bathroom so translucent and is controlled from the outside.
