japan trip - day 2

hotel breakfast, shot of the hotel and we're off to dsea!

there were 29 of us in the tour..super big rite...it just means more waiting time..ok in all, 12 families leh...amazing rite? no frens-grp. only 2 families chose to go dsea, while the rest went dland with the tour guide. so off we go, buying the monorail tix at our own expense. we took the cute monorail from dland to dsea and

then bought the entrance tix which cost 5800 yen each which can be later claimed from mag (tour guide).

luckily i've got experience from dland, paris. so getting the fast pass is indeed much faster, in the end we managed to cover 7 rides in total. still think we made the right choice to dsea. firstly it's a sunday, the crowd is bigger than usual, 2ndly it's the only one in the world, 3rdly, mag has told us that dland, tokyo has been top amongst all 5 dlands in the world in terms of popularity for 5 consecutive. it's indeed tempting to go over but then it will mean that the crowd is most prob 3 times bigger than the one in dsea.

while waiting for the fast pass tix timing, we just roam abt taking some random pics, even the setting is slightly inferior to dland i think. nothing very fantastic ok but obviously it's still difficult to build such a theme park, cant dismiss the designers' and workers' effort.

roger say like tat take pic very pitiful. very meh? i dun find very ke lian leh...no time to queue and take pic wat..like tat also counted mah. at least he got take with the genie lor. i wanted to take with the bad guy in sindbad one lor but too many pple liao..pek cek waiting.

the prams just automatically file in at one corner, out of no where, next to souvenir shops or next to rides..and not just only the prams leh, the bags, babies' water bottles everything! just there unattended and nobody will go and take meh? amazing!

then we finally managed to catch old daffy duck, forgot the name alr, saw him scribbled something when kids ask for his autograph.
then my fav ride for dsea, the tower of terror, it's also a new attraction, it's like u'll be in an elevator and it just dropped free fall but obviously not as scary as the genting one(din want to try a second time) or the one in wufuchun in taiwan(haven tried but heard abt it), it's controlled but u will still get the butterflies.
the sinbad cruise is so-so, not as gd as it's a small small world in dland which is a real fantasy.

next we saw the performances, cant really see, tiptoed till my sole cramped lo..but the characters are really cute. then the central water had the float performance. mickey mouse is really the king of all disney characters leh..it's right in the middle with the fountain and it's just turning 360 deg on the spot while the others on other floats moving round it. wat's most awesome is the sound system. it's open air and yet the speakers are able to contain the music in tat area...super cool.

oh yea, dsea is only 5 yrs old!
then before boarding the coach, we ran to catch a pic of the entrance of tokyo disneyland which i'm gg next time for sure.
then to our hotel and some 7 or 8 course chinese dinner before some night shopping. the japanese are v fashionable lo..so pretty along the streets, maybe the weather plays a part but their summer clothing isnt very thick also leh..can someone just sell jap clothes in sg?
