really dont...2 days are enuff.
can singaporeans kindly auto form into 2 queues for the bus like the japanese, and let the pple alight first from the train? can dun squeeze ur way in, as if there're nobody ard who wants to get up too? really lor..and stand, stand properly la..keep fidgeting here and there. so packed alr, u keep moving can irritate others ok.
a rare example today. finally got one soul who din rush forward, she kindly walk slower to see if i'm gg in front first and cos i also let her go first, she politely walk into the space tat's in front of us. eh manz tat's the way, and tat's how japanese let others cross first.either one will signal or it'll be natural.
bus's conditions are even worse la...everyday i get on bus with a black face de.. and plus i'm so tired. can sbs just increase the frequency for tat peak period 845 - 915..not asking for too much rite?
meetings...pls lor...if i dun nid to contribute can i dun attend..really lor waste man power, waste MY power and time. sighz..really fei de..not as if i nv do sch projs be4. i'm the chop chop kind and straight to the pt.
lunch i haf to reject the other grps to join for proj meeting.ya bad for indigestion and most imptly not fun. oh today finally i can haf lunch with zx, sy, as, mh and chris. happy bday to zx and sy! young and old babies. oh dear, i 4got to say out in today's meeting.
low morale.damn sianz. meeting at 6. long and draggy. same topic gg over and over again. one hr after another. ended at 9. side gate JUST closed. the guard also NOT kind enuff to open it again for us. wth. walk all the way to the main gate and then few cabs...and those miserable few cabs DUN WANT to go my place. waited till 950pm.
eh harlo...who do u think u are..it's ur job ok. else dun be a cab driver la. how can u choose where u want to go. no matter how ulu the place is, or how in convenient it is or if u'll get any customers on the return journey, the motto is to send passengers safely to their destinations. i really want to complain. not just this time. last time after course from cbd, one still got the face to say i gg orchard, u want to go orchard? RIGHT AFTER I said i want to go depot road. i just look away. siao. dun force me to go where u want to go. and most even better, din even say a single word after i ans their qn as to where i'm heading and they just drove away. cmi
if u haf the face to stop and ask, u dun give tat kind of attitude. and pls dun put hired when it's so damn obvious there're no passengers inside the vehicle, unless it's a ghostly figure whom i cant see. dotz. change shifts dun nid the whole fleet change rite? and dun try to stop and ask hoping to earn another one more on the way to the place where u are changing shift.
not just i say, many pple encountered this be4 le. like the malaysians and british in my course said so. singapore can drivers pls wake up ur own idea.
finally big thanks to merv to pick me and send me home.

duck tour from suntec
it's family day 2. yay haha not bad sia the welfare. but well this is combined with the VAD = Volunteer a day event. each of us staff is assigned with a befriendee and mine's alr 12 so no nid much looking after of. she's in fact more interested in playing with the k2 kid.
first time trying it. not bad..an amphibious vehicle and yes when the ad commented on the hovercraft, none of us want to hear hahah..unless it's the command and conquer transporter. yes i played tat be4 and i cfmed it's called a transporter, so dun blame me for not knowing wat's a hovercraft. anyway kh who did luffed at me left. gd luck to him for his future endeavours as a soldier...gg to be OEM liao..he's really inspired by the bao jia wei guo show. cos i was telling him after watching attention pls, i wanna be a CA.
first to the marina promenade. whoosh...a fast spd into the water, past the floating platform, esplanade, benjamin shears bridge (longest bridge in sg but measures only 1.6 smth km i think). and then how many merlions in sg. seriously i dunno there're 5.
onto the road tour, civil district. smth like tat..padang, old city hall (pretty colonial buildings) old and new supreme court.very brief...actually think not worth...so near only i'd rather walk and take photos...if i'm the tourist i wont take such a ride.450 ended..early day. gd gd

effective nego skills @ british council
course in place of office work for 2 days. refreshing but well the content is real cheem la..and yes british council teaches not just english but soft skills leadership courses etc. anyway, soft skill courses arent easy. it may be easy to understand the knowledge which the trainer is trying to impart, but in real life, often it's definitely not easy to apply.
the main gist of it. positions vs interests. u dun keep arguing and bargaining over positions which mean stances, but u explain and share ur interests. manz..it's easy to say lor. but who's interested in ur interests. it's yours not mine anyway. and i think it's often misunderstood as excuses. i dun get this.
dun assume. we are split into 2 teams, each to play a different role and then we met to negotiate. this is amazing cos it's really not on purpose that i said out " we need the crocodile eggs as the ingredient to make the vaccine is in the yolk."
and the other "oh so u only want the yolk?"
"u mean u need the whites?"
"no, i only need the shell"
then everything resolves. fine, so we dun haf to fight for the eggs. the agreement is just tat we'll split the costs for the eggs and extract the relevant parts for each party. competitors can become partners rite? and now we just need to work hand in hand to convince the restaurants not to sell crocodile eggs. together.
another is the option. generate and give options, no pt arguing over the same point. this is powerful.
and yes the 2 days course i summarise into these pts..there're alot more, just tat either i cant rmb or it's really too cheem le.
anyway i like my trainer. she has the northern uk accent, like those acting in the harry potter movie. cool! she's really from leeds..haha. and then sense her dislike for liverpool and arsenal. faintz..the north and south always like tat. sensitive sia.
2 days' lunch at amoy street hawker. ban mian and chicken rice. so so la..no chance to eat the famous long queueing cha kuay tiao and lor mee. :(
and i really dun hope to go tanjong pagar anymore, esp in the morning. the number of pple out of the train is like 4-5 times more than redhill? 2 escalators filled and the continuous stream of pple walking up the stairs. so many pple working there ah.

the secret not to be told & Ratatouille
hush hush...be4 the show started fs was throwing his lame jokes again.
and yes only until recently that i managed to watch this show. and the song really sounds better after u watch the show. not exactly superb, luckily i din catch it in the cinema.

the rat chef is different...it's nice lor..dun think it's not worth cos it's a cartoon ok...although this time is in paris, the show still reminded me of bambino which is in italy. the same stations in a restaurante kitchen, sauce, soup and dolce etc.
i thot the plot was gd, with the effects and drawings synchronising it. there're different characters in it that think and behave very differently -- group dynamics huh. and last of all the great team spirit of the rats whom although greatly dislike humans, helped linguini and work under the commands of Remy. and they prepare the dish, Ratatouille for the food critic, Ego. a bite of it leads Ego to relive childhood memories of his mother. crappy haha but funny. the rats helped not just to cook but even ran after the inspector and tied him up subsequently. ridiculous..but well..haha.

ATTENTION PLS & WARAKU
i really haven been blogging faithfully. think i've missed out so many things in writings..some are just lingering somewhere in my memories. sighz..i shall just make short posts.

very very nice show leh...aya is so cute. but when my bro says this type of noisy gal very irritating ...really meh? ok la...for the show she has to act like this. but i'm really impressed with wat she did finally, in the real emergency situation. calm and steady and carry things out nicely. i wonder if i can rmb all those during training and perform steadily.
thanks the gals for introducing waraku to me...it's so damn nice leh...almost similar to that in japan, with a greater tinge of salt and i suppose tat's to suit our tastebuds, cos the japanese like food bland and healthy. shrugs...it's so nice and best of all it's affordable. great place to eat japanese food. yumyum
