7 am. An hr later than the previous day. To Ao Por pier. Then boat for island hopping. Canoeing in the bat cave at panak island. Tried asking before for us to control the canoe ourselves. But no. And after that we know why. Complete darkness and had to lie down in the canoe. The rocks are jus 10 cm away from the face. Few bats, i bet they are disgusted by us tourists who disturb the cave. Next to hong island. The guide canoed there n we requested to canoe the way back. Heavy wooden kayak paddle. No stamina with its weight, endured for some muscles building.
Really nice down the water with the high cliffs surrounding. Spotting rocks which look like piranha, turtle and buddha. Saw many which look like elephants. Reached an enclosed water body. Looking up, the foliage hanging from the high rocky cliffs against the bright sky. Paradise. The greenish blue water glistened in the sunlight shining from above. Really a 仙境.
Lunch on board the ship. Then were brought to an alternative place of lawa island where was avoided cos of the jelly fish n sea urchins. Another paradise, small stretch of beach in between the high cliffs. The boat stopped a distance away from the deserted island. So we jumped off into the water. Yucks. Salty water.
Tiring to tread water. Think not doing the right way, either tht or my stamina is jus too lousy. Went back to the boat n fetch the life jacket. Finally got to try jumping off the boat from the second deck. Quite scary when standing outside the railing. Squeezing my eyes shut to protect the contacts, pinching my nose, i took a leap off it. Woo hoo. Shiok, thrilling but really scary. Then swim to the island. So easy with the life jacket.
Looking from the island. Really scary if we were to be stranded there. Not even a cave for a shelter. Jus a small beach then all vertical rocks. Shouted out loud to hear the echoes. Haha real fun! No pebbles, countless shells. Use them to throw instead. Jumped once on the water. Not of the right piece. Still haven mastered it tho. Failed at some tries.
Had 3 lady boys who put up a performance on board. Some obvious disapproving faces. A grp of sporty guys who danced with the "ladies". One crazy guy grabbed "him" and kissed for a long time. Eekks. Wonder if "he" felt violated. Poor thing. Shld be given credit. One of them really danced well. The rest of the time on the boat back was staring out at the sparkling water against the late afternoon sun. Feeling the nice breeze and the warmth.
Dinner at the port. Blue kamikaze n thai red curry. Thick coconut flavour. Typical thai cuisine. Nicer than honolulu, tho it makes my tongue blue. Nice live music, performers on stage thot we are koreans tho. Cos she kamsa hamida us when we clapped. Kawaii.
