Started with strangely countless invitations last fri. Checked the calender, 9 sep, ok nice date, but doesnt explain why everybody was suddenly in the mood of catching up and hanging out. Sincere thanks to the invitations. Sorry that to be fair and just, i've to go to the first to invite, plus that 论交情, unbeatable. Besides, it's an exemption to the reserved day of the wk as well. Still happy bday again to my beloved fren who went thru with me the thick n thins at both workplaces. Even tho no longer colleagues, still look forward to future outings, i'll chk if u got the cake to share with ur adorable son n daughter.
Busy wkend, had to get pulled out of bed for a treasure hunt organised by starhub at 8 am. Finding the poodle. Started with newton circus to the booklet where u will collect the stamps from the chkpts . Always amazed by the clues set for the contestants. First clue, somewhere betw the rock and the edge of emptiness, our bulldog lady walks. Second, our street artist is in a small park drawing a sketch of a big park. Third, skill is not required to find where our game store owner is. Ready, on two, go! Last, gd news, the poodle's escape.
N then the process of guessing, ending up with somewhere near hard rock cafe, dhoby ghaut green, lucky plaza n the scape park. Got the second n 4th right. The other 2 r dependent on following fb for hints. Prizes arent really enticing. The small tasks give out vaio, ipad, tv etc, but still wont be in full mode to getting all these, competing against other contestants on the run. Jus gg thru motion to see how well was the event organised, n how contestants respond to the event. Hmm...
Next to hdb hub for family lunch, food wasnt too bad. One of the restaurants my bro's ex coy operates. Indeed F&b industry isnt easy to work in. Nice weather, fortunately to take a post lunch walk ard the area. Den head home, hoping to catch a nap before the wedding dinner at sentosa.
Definitely not one of the preferred locations but food is really good, with good company too. Humourous groom and gorgeous bride. Interesting video of the renactment of how they met, thru dota. Omg. Our poor waiter was under scrutiny after the grpchat attached with photo update, but ours good, tho we burst out luffing when the first strand started dangling out of the bowl. Sigh he must be under a lot of stress. But well we portrayed admiration at his cutlery skills. Hope that soothed him.
