yay back to east coast park!!!! still prefer this to tynemouth, though there's snow in winter and nice little flowers on the super green grass in spring. north sea is really an endless stretch of vast blue meeting the sky at the horizon. the sea stretches out from east coast has big ships either moving or stoning.
cycled from my house to east coast. passed by the route where we had our weekly lucky heights run. wahhh got cable ski in east coast! dunno how much leh...just saw a few pple trying and always fall down at the turn. looks fun but think not fast enuff and the water body very small ah. the 2 other ponds still there. there're a few new shops too. i cycled all the way to the other end, the part where we had our 2.4 km run. super far la...i cycled towards the nice orange sunset. the sea is exceptionally choppy today but makes the sound of waves crashing upon the shore louder. not too many people too. soo niceeee. people walking their dogs, kids running about, some pro skaters and cyclists, some beginners.
i u-turn at the bridge, still under construction leh. but wb say can cross the bridge de. i shall go explore next time. now cycling away from sunset. my butt hurting liao...needa rest..but i thot i shall endure abit longer till i nearer to bedok cos i know sure harder to cycle after rest de. so back to costa sands. why so unusual..the breakwaters nobody on it leh..i scared they are just built then the sand behind it not solid enuff. nvm the sand looks nice... i shall sit on the beach..so relaxing..ok i really dun feel like moving liao..so i really sit from 615 till dark lor..the sea changes from shimmering green to pale blue, dark blue and then black..the black is really menacing...so ugly at night. the sky chnages from blue to orange, magenta, dark purple and black but with specks of light from stars and satellites. the sky is so clear lor..uk seldom has so clear sky de..always so cloudy. so from bright to sunset to dark..really rested enuff liao..next time shld bring poncho then can lie down.

reached at 1415. super tired, cos din slp much on plane. so happy to see them all. first person is daddy! just nice he working leh... so i saw him first on the aerobridge. arghhh the first thing he said is i gain weight le. this is only the beginning. i super tu inside, used the free phone to call mummy first, longi, yong fair and ah hun sis with her, so the phone was passed around, cos i asking them wat they want from dfs. oki then hahah longi spoiled the surprise liao, cos he told me he saw carol and jiamin. din know carol coming mah. and he forgot carol's name, so he was like trying to describe and i trying hard to guess who lor..say all the names of those who went my house be4.
thanks jm, xianlin, qs, wb, carol and merv for gg to the airport, though stupid merv went unwillingly de. after tat then i know tat poor jd went airport after i left lor..oops.hahah but then went dinner at 85 with jd, qm, jm and qs and we had the weird ba chor mee. but kenna scolded for pang sehing them cos supp to be father's day. i din realise be4 jioing them for dinner wat. anyway i missed mother's day too. so must be fair. haha .jm la..say wat the trad one is the soup one..i always eat the dry one leh..the soup one really not nice lor...thot i can feast.. but i super full liao esp after the nice tang yuan. yumyum. haha managed to psycho qm to walk with me, jm lor so lazy, same direction leh, can walk first mah then take bus at my bus stop..after dinner must stroll wat..tsk tsk. nice seeing everyone.

went grandpa house, din bring anything, cos obviously haven unpacked. caught up with everyone yay..chat non-stop lor....then they keep saying tat ah gong asked for me everyday, so i tried all my might to squeeze out my super limited hokkien to talk to him more lor..super difficult cos he cant hear also, must aim correctly de, making sure my sound waves travelled into his middle ear and create vibrations in the basilar membrane so tat electrical impulses can be converted from sound waves in the cochlea..omg..hahaha yay i still rmb wat i learnt in physio. actually i also not sure correct or wrong. managed to concuss for 2 hrs there, but being woken up for dinner again. why cannot skip de? haizz. ya lor they also say my face looks rounder. then i asked my cousins. so cute..they dun dare to say out until i asked then they shyly nodded their heads. so high eq. hahaha. everyone still looks the same.

dinner with tzeting, albert, yihang and qs. hahah so cham, qs's budget of 7 bucks but we all ignore her. deciding on either crystal jade or sushi tei. in the end we went sushi tei but waited for 15min then give up le. qs ru yuan yi chang lor. we went yoshi la..not nice de, then coffee club, sobsob i paid 5 dollars for a normal kopitiam coffee la..wat mocha singa. no mocha taste ah. no wonder the waitress keep emphazing tat it's black coffee. then i still ask them, but milk will be provided separately rite. she said ya..then ok wat. then a 2nd waitress come and inform me tat it's black coffee again.-_-" i was like..err..ya i know. arghhh. they should haf just said, it's just NORMAL KOPITIAM coffee. sighhzz nvm. so fun to be with lecture mates again. but think no more le....unless specially choose same TEs. so fast...left one yr liao.

reached bedok south at 730 lor..damn sehh. so weird..so many pple in the cca room. all i dunno de lor except for sy and py. oki but i rmb jeffrey from HO course, and finally see the ahs ho mervyn, after hearing so much from py. ya..think i saw him be4 also. oki so ahs has sec1 and 2 only, all cute girls, 2 hos and 3 cis but 2 of whom leaving for a's. so left liyana. lmsc is for sec3s so ah pple not there. ok left the cadets and TOs haven see le lor. then i was updated with many gossips in hq, areas and units, politics as always. ly came to help too..so nice of her, wahhh she super exp in giving lectures... so natural. she just back from korea tour, so we were like exchanging encouters and complaining abt sg weather haha. k got the taste of the culture liao.
dinner met up with kelvin and yusen with some of the new batch ncl sep students. arghhh edel pang seh...she nv go. wahh cafe cartel got svc charge le. and the portion becomes smaller liao..so lousy. good for ncl sg soc lo..the gals so chio. the guy also gd but got couple liao..haha.nice peeps, shared exp with them lo..they planning trips and choosing accom. same train back..so surprised tat sz can guess correctly that i'm the eldest with younger siblings..so smart..can see de meh.. she say i got responsible look..yay! haha i look pro.

we took metro tog to Newcastle airport haha and we talk abt hiong-ing and getting on headlines “2 singaporeans getting free rides everywhere” faintz..and they were saying in Prague they check almost every station de lor.. regent said tat time got one person came over and show him the badge. Hahahahah he really damn farnie la..omg..i feel like burst out luffing now lor..he said “I don’t want to buy this” hahahaha..omg…then the person tried to said something like tix…supp to show him her the tix la..she’s the inspector, apparently. Wahh lauuu joke of the day la..cos regent always speak with confidence tat kind de..like li zhi qi zhuang, tat’s why veery gao xaio. Edel was telling us, qc and bel kanna caught for not having the tix. If fine it’ll be 40 eur each la..but lucky the person kind enuff to let them off cos they keep speaking mandarin to him. Oki I din know Czech has their own lag, those some speak german still..i thot all speak german de.
7 miles = abt 10km took 25 min metro ride. Quite fast leh. At the airport, I just need to baggage drop cos I checked in online le..sobsob..i blur again, cos I queued the one for check in and I never give the person form of identification and still so stun when she asked for it..so kenna suan by them again. Then we all went to haf a drink..i still need to act fierce to force them to just let me treat…then they all say I fierce..but I act one leh..cos I very gentle de..really wat..i wanna treat u all then u all still so ke qi. Must scold de lor. sighhzz the only café there is COSTA!! Omg..hahaha I rmb amy and merv tat time, so I cfm not ordering cappuc, latte and esp Americano. I took the more ex one la..nvm la..last time le..mocha…damn nice leh! But dr ming took cappuc. The rest took orange juice..why they dun like coffee…soooo nice..
kk time to leave..we bade farewell and I went in le lor..tmr’s edel’s turn le..last time to walk up the stairs to the plane liao..newcastle airport is international airport whyy so small ah. 1.25hr flight. Wahhh dunno wat happen to my mp3 player la..i ming2 ming2 got charge lor..then it says batt empty. But anyway I took the spacious emergency seat and window somemore, so not too bad. One last look at my fav tyne river with the prominent bridges. Damn nice la. Then the whole town disappeared beneath the clouds. The sky so nice..remind me of the view we saw in switz. Just above the clouds it’s like pale green then all those above all clear blue. Wahh the plane turn 90 deg leh while almost reaching London. London really super built up. The terraces very neat leh..like legos lor. and I saw the half complete stadium..is tat the new arsenal stadium, has it even begun construction. Wahhh I listening to this song, combined all songs leh. So pro to link the tunes and lyrics. Ok later I on the light and see the booklet foe the title.
K continue.. Finally touched down heathrow. Only like abt 4 pple collecting luggages lor..i think really nobody take flight from Newcastle to london de. They all do connecting flights. Then I met this couple, who are HK pple but they stayed in Newcastle for a few years le. So meeting their son and fren in London then they fly the same flight to sg stopover be4 sabah. We went together to term 3 from term 1 after collecting our luggages. Dunno queue how long to check in lor…I think abt 1 hr. so many pple..and I really feel weird to see so many Chinese gather tog leh..somehow dun like sgporeans. Esp the kids. Think sec sch or jc trips..they travel in grps like very yaya. Tsktsk. Anyway damn scary, the baggage limit really 20kg leh..so little..siao..then only can haf 1 hand luggage. 2 bags alr 28 liao I still haf the other one abt 7kg. which supp to check in else I’l haf 2 pcs of hand carry. Then the person ask me to clear 3kg stuff cos the max he can allow me is 25 kg..then the aunty and uncle very nice la..cos they’ve 4 pple but only checking in 3. so they offered to check in for me..soo nice hor but the person say cannot ask fren to check in cos it’s against dunno wat policy. but then cos they all just at the counter beside mine, and they just help to pull my trolley over in front of him la.right after I said I’ll take out 3 kg…oopsy. Ok bo chap. So I check in 2 myself. Walk ard, waited for awhile be4 boarding time. I smsed edel just be4 boarding so now let 7p. cos they were letting those with children up the plane first. Then weird, row 61-66 can go in next. So heng, mine’s 64. but then my seat got the box below la, meaning I cant slot my laptop below the seat in front and no leg space..wahh I dunno got these type of sear de leh..and it’s the centre column. Ji sad no window seat. If only I could check in online. Sighzz

4 more hours to sg le. Cant even slp..so different from the time I went over..tat time I slp thruout lor. watch half way then doze off le. This time round I watched the Truman show. Yay finally got to watch it. Yay nice. Feel so sorry for him, cos he wanted to get out very badly wat. But so helpless cos the dumb director tried all means to keep him in within the walls lor. next I watched I not stupid too..wahh sehhh very nice leh..i laughed and teared..omg..i think pple beside me think I crazy liao..very gd la.so long din listen to those singlish liao. As in I speak everytime la..but it’s diff in the show. maybe jm has the vcd.i shall ask her to lend me. I watch again..some of the tracks also very nice. Next 13 going 30. hahaha damn farnie. Not too bad a show la. Last one be4 I finally felt abit slpy, I watched kungfu mahjong2. nice also! Very farnie. Then haf to ren3 xiao4 lor..after tat I managed to catch some slp I think only 1.5 hr. I wake up le then as usual cant slp back la. Sighhzz. Ok this time a lot of turbulences le..keep shaking sia..the first time I thot dun haf. Or maybe cos I slp throughout.
Anyway had fish and steamed rice. Wahh sehh very long never tasted real Chinese cooked rice le leh..still not exactly that taste but closer compared to tat in uk la. Wahh got Cadbury caramel ice cream with choc chips. Though I dun like caramel but this one tasted damn nice leh. Then I asked for white wine. The air stewardess very cute lor. she asked “sorry mdm, may I know your age?”I was like stunned for awhile then I said 22. haha then she smiled.
Ok this morning din managed to finish typing my Europe trip blog entries la.cos jiafang suddenly appeared at my place at 7 plus. I din want to open the door one de leh. But he like keep ringing and when I picked up the phone, he said “wei, shi wo” I was like err which wo? Hahaha when he appeared, I told him tat lor..where got pple say shi wo. I cant recognise the voice wat. Wahh sehh I dunno wat I typing la..shake till very jialat ah..rite then cos I needa finish all the leftover rations, so I just cooked all…but cant finish, but since he come good lor..force him eat, else I’ll throw away also..shouldnt waste food wat. Tomyam spag, canned salmon and chicken cream soup. He said nice lor..yay. I tried to finish my Venice blog while he went to the living room and slp la..
at 930 I walked all the way to tsang food lor. cos chris’s fren, amy working there and she said I can pass her poto dvd and London ref book to amy. Manzz tat time she never come out meet us wat. So I din manage to return her be4 she took train to Manchester where she flew back HK. Oki..how great lor…the ship not open la. I still need to rush back to finish packing and bathe leh. I wanted to like try lifting the metal thing but erm think quite imposs. Wanted to pass to the person selling mark toney icecream, which is just next to the shop, but then he angmoh leh..i scared he racist and bo chap me…the stuff not mine leh..so I shouldnt risk la. Then I suddenly rmb tat actually we’ll sorta pass by there later on the way to haymarket metro. How stupid. Or even I can pass to edel to ask her help me give to amy. Anywayzzz nvm..i shall take one last morning stroll. Ok I took it back and chop chop pack up cos they all coming at 11, so I’m supp to get all prepared by then

venice, pisa, florence and rome all on the same day
9 apr
set off from venice to pisa. stopover at florence for 2 hrs only. carried 10 plus kg bag and. walked along the river..again haha yay..rivers are the best. walked towards the hill where michelangelo's works are. but of cos we din climb upill. tired and felt super consti..(huh..i forgot now le). nothing much though. we found a marketplace later but gotta rush 4 train..sighhzz..on train le. another 1 hr plus to pisa.
got abit lost. lucky we asked one woman where the tower is. detoured abit and walked a long way abt 30min not like wat edel's fren claim tat the tower is JUST OUTSIDE the station. where got? but lucky not with the bag this time. we spent 3 eur per luggage to deposit it at the train station. but it's worth la..else wont be enjoying the time in pisa at all. yea busy posing once we reached there. really many pple pose the same way there lor. so must be innovative..i did new poses and then while edel was taking it for me, one woman just came over and exclaimed out super loudly. then more came over..ji scary. hahahaha i see edel's face i keep luffing la. they were japanese la..no wonder so expressive. super enthu exclamations. then they asked me to take for them. really challenge lor cos it's very difficult to make it perfect and the poser will be super tired la, so i just tried shift more rather than asking him to shift.
oh manz..running out of time else can help more. so i tried my best to take the best shot. edel bought one souvenir then we set off to retrieve our luggage be4 getting up the train to rome. 3 hrs. the yucky toilet no water la..damn er. even out of the station leh. very diff scenery once we reach rome. a very built up city but graffiti everywhere. we called up the rest and managed to meet them outside the colloseum. so happy to meet them lor. exchanged experiences while we look for good cheap place for dinner. 8 eur for one whole pepperoni (salami) pizza, most worth the $$ de. the others ordered chicken with wedges for 10 and gnocchi but bul was the most unhappy, think his share was only abt 4 spoonfuls of rice on a big plate. sad case. we rushed back afterwards cos metro close at 9. so early lor. oki..heard from them abt the hostel liao. HI again. REALLY CANT WAIT TO SEE IT lor. ok..HI in italy..ermm...rome's slightly better than the venice's one though. but breakfast is still one bread, 1 butter, 1 jam, 1 coffee and 1 orange juice, one item more.

ok i really not thinking liao..just want to type out cos dun want to take these papers up the plane.
reached and bought the boat pass and map at the information counter in the train station. someone approached us and offered accom and then a 2nd one came, but the 1st person said something in italian i think. maybe they agree on not taking each other's customers. ok we decided on taking back our pre-booked hostel. lousy one. spacious but dirt la. breakfast was the worst. one bread and one coffee. full stop.sighzz.
we put our stuff and then came out. dinner was super ex la. the ultimate 0.5l bottle of coke and fanta orange, cost 6 eur each! 12 sing for one bottle leh..i can drink 12 bottles meaning 6l lor. madnes. we ordered lasagne and frankfurter pizza. lasagne tasted very different and not very nice leh. the pizza was alright la. just thinner crust. i think only sg has thick crust lor. walked the main area, rialto bridge, ate gelato which is eerywhere. yum yum. then we headed to the shipyard, thru all the residential streets. the houses like the china si he yuan la..just tat the houses are like 4 storeys high blk of flats. the centre small square is where the kids play. the pple staying on the 2nd level just chat with the pple under their window. they dun even need to shout. very quiet place.
venice is so cool. no cars, transport is either on foot, bicycle or boat. the houses haf their own boats, tied outside their doors along the narrow canals. it's actually an old town lor. the main industry other than lace, masks and glass, it's tourism le, esp along the rivers. we went to look for hotel for our last night cos our train out venice is super early one at 6.
we woke up early adn checked in hotel biasin. good leh. 18 eur for 3 bunk room, so much better than the HI one lor. it's opened by a family, the old grandma gives a super homely feeling lor..like those read in novels kind.
we set off for murano island. entered the gallery. so many glass products, lamps, chandeliers, horses, cups etc. we then went to the glass blowing showroom cool! startedd with just one blot of glass on the stick. the men heat, blow, using gravity to shape the molten glass, powder, heat twice, shape, heat and set in mould. poweder again, heat and done. so much heating. they're so skilled liao. the person, maybe it;'s the boss super nice lor..but too frenly sia, so scary, make me feel obliged to buy. but really quite ex. wanted to buy the mouse de. not very big and it's 10 eur liao..but iscared it'll break by the time i bring it back newcastle, not to mention sg. he was like help me tidy my windbreaker hood! cos he said it was super crumpled. hahaha..i stunned for a while lor. crumpled nvm one wat. he chatted with us and said tat he visited sg 20 yrs back. i was like only 2? anyway we paisehly said tat we'll buy later after we see the whole island.
we walked further in, more shops, took pics with some church, shopped till noon, the glass pics were really pretty but ex. back to san polo then san marc square. wow..really ming fu qi shi de venice lor. so many pigeons but alot of pple also la. huiting was telling us the pigeons like more than the pple there. the birds totally heng chong zhi zhuang one. never watch out for traffic de leh. really scared they'll fly rite into my face. we stepping on shit all the time lor. k back to rialto bridge. the masks were splendid too. actually better to have the whole collection. so either buy all or none, but i really like it alot la..totemo suki desu. well just buy the nicest one lo 5 eur for a small one. over spend in venice la... edel also. md just visited too in june..he also said the same thing. but he spend 200-300 eur i think. omg.
the gondolas were super nice la. 80 eur per boat leh! madness..waste $$..haha but edel was saying if take with bf not bad cos romantic. but i still think no need to waste $$. row boat only wat. can build own raft lor. kup the logs and manila can liao..or just take kayak la..less than 20 sing rite. besides i think the boat ride there gives the experience liao..so shuang and refreshing. if i take it everyday to nus, i dun mind lor. just like the bumboat to ubin..big contrast with the bus ride la. the pple really damn pro at docking the boat lor but weird leh no bumper de. keep banging against the platforms.

last day and last night in newcastle upon tyne
slept only abt 4-5 hrs on thurs night. then met erik, edel, sunfei and his fren at 10 then we went to the discovery musuem together, just opposite the bus station. i dont even know lor..should haf gone there earlier, quite interesting. all the history of newcastle and the tyne story..very cool la.
so since newcastle is upon the tyne.. the main attractions are the ships over the years. the fastest travelling ship at that time was turbinia, reaching i forgot how many knots le. anyway haha very interesting la cos erik and sunfei's fren are marine engineers so we haf good knowledgable free tour guides. ya man if not for the lack of time, erik whould haf gone with zj tat time le. oopsy zj missed it. nvm can see our photos hehe. and yea maybe durham more worth gg too. hee.
then we saw newcastle thru the years lor, from roman newcastle, norman, medieval, stuart....ermmss..hahaha limited memory..nvm all the way thru the wars, then 1960s which is a really very distinct period of time. 1980s, 1990s then into the 21st century. displays on their lifestyle, their transport system, things they do, the food they eat, clothes they wear, goods they traded, games they play..really very interesting lor..seems better than now leh..pastimes now are tv, computer, ktv, shopping and eat....sighhzz

we went back and quickly check in online. only to find out tat i cant check in online for sia. damn wasted la..else i can special order meal leh! cos my stupid passport less than 6 mths validity! imagine if i've booked my air tix and hostels with edel to berlin and prague! i can die lor..waste $$..lucky i din feel like gg. close shave. but i checked in online for ba liao..so actually no need so early reach but then aiya allow time for me to tu. besides i've to drag my luggage to haymarket metro. slowly lor. ahh then i cant log in ba again cos i wanna copy and paste the boarding pass to my mail so can print at edel's place later. check in once cant check in again meh..i haven printed wat. suay.
ok nvm we've to carry stuff over to ming's office. so i carried the box to meet edel at the junction. the pillow keep wanting to fall off lor..so difficult and the box quite heavy la..and i endure endure till i think i overstrain my muscle, then haf to keep stopping..but thanks edel for changing with me half way. and my arm keep shivering afterwards. haha no hands to knock the door at all lor then use the rack which i'm carrying to knock..too loud liao..oops.. yay! thanks ming for donating one corner of his office. so the next batch of students better asap remove it from his office when they reach in sep. k i forgot to take the 2 pails out. arghhh then i thinking suan le..just throw away. but then i realised tat the lan cable i took over belongs to the room! wah sehh faint. so i quickly took the 2 pails out. 520 le..all the doors and gates locked liao..dead dead..and cant call thru. either the phone line also cut off or the 17p in my phone not enuff to call.
then really adventure lor..i keep waiting for someone to come out, then i can rush to hold the door and sneak in. someone finally out but it's the ee dept.well i hope the buildings are linked..just go in first la. then i climb the stairs checking every floor to see if there's a common linking corridor, but none. i climbed 6 storeys la. din climb so high after moving out from tamp leh. ok as in those towers like in spain one not counted. haha..luckily i met one female lecturer..so few hardworking pple..the building almost empty liao lor..yay she told me the reading room at level 2 can link. gd gd..i reached ming;'s office hor..i think i knock for 10-15 min. usually i'll just leave or he'll suddenly appear from the corridor after a few knocks. but intuitively, he shld still be inside. just tat maybe he blasting music or engrossed in work cant hear the knocking. so i called out lor. lucky he opened the door, so i passed him the pails and took back the cable. think 2nd or 3rd third i perspire so much in newcastle.

we went back and quickly check in online. only to find out tat i cant check in online for sia. damn wasted la..else i can special order meal leh! cos my stupid passport less than 6 mths validity! imagine if i've booked my air tix and hostels with edel to berlin and prague! i can die lor..waste $$..lucky i din feel like gg. close shave. but i checked in online for ba liao..so actually no need so early reach but then aiya allow time for me to tu. besides i've to drag my luggage to haymarket metro. slowly lor. ahh then i cant log in ba again cos i wanna copy and paste the boarding pass to my mail so can print at edel's place later. check in once cant check in again meh..i haven printed wat. suay.
ok nvm we've to carry stuff over to ming's office. so i carried the box to meet edel at the junction. the pillow keep wanting to fall off lor..so difficult and the box quite heavy la..and i endure endure till i think i overstrain my muscle, then haf to keep stopping..but thanks edel for changing with me half way. and my arm keep shivering afterwards. haha no hands to knock the door at all lor then use the rack which i'm carrying to knock..too loud liao..oops.. yay! thanks ming for donating one corner of his office. so the next batch of students better asap remove it from his office when they reach in sep. k i forgot to take the 2 pails out. arghhh then i thinking suan le..just throw away. but then i realised tat the lan cable i took over belongs to the room! wah sehh faint. so i quickly took the 2 pails out. 520 le..all the doors and gates locked liao..dead dead..and cant call thru. either the phone line also cut off or the 17p in my phone not enuff to call.
then really adventure lor..i keep waiting for someone to come out, then i can rush to hold the door and sneak in. someone finally out but it's the ee dept.well i hope the buildings are linked..just go in first la. then i climb the stairs checking every floor to see if there's a common linking corridor, but none. i climbed 6 storeys la. din climb so high after moving out from tamp leh. ok as in those towers like in spain one not counted. haha..luckily i met one female lecturer..so few hardworking pple..the building almost empty liao lor..yay she told me the reading room at level 2 can link. gd gd..i reached ming;'s office hor..i think i knock for 10-15 min. usually i'll just leave or he'll suddenly appear from the corridor after a few knocks. but intuitively, he shld still be inside. just tat maybe he blasting music or engrossed in work cant hear the knocking. so i called out lor. lucky he opened the door, so i passed him the pails and took back the cable. think 2nd or 3rd third i perspire so much in newcastle.
next to edel's place for dinner. lucky can print out the ba boarding pass lor. dunno why my laptop cant log in again. then we went taking pics ard the sch. really very small leh..walk abit then finish liao. went back to pack and then slp at 12 plus. woke up at 4plus today. now it's 7 le. still not all packed yet. but still got time la..they all coming at 11. so paiseh to ma fan them.i cant help poor edel who's leaving tmr. hope got pple help her.

last thurs..one more friday tmr left..
yi yi bu she le...
tidied up and threw away alot of brochures and notes. heart pain lor..i xin xin ku ku write out the notes then throw away..aiya but i always like tat also la..haf to write out else i read sure slp de..then everytime i throw i'll keep admiring my handwriting..cos tat's the stack i stared at most wat..always read from there after i wrote out mah. i also threw those printed out notes away la..cos got soft copy..anyway if i want to recall anything..just google can le...the notes now no use liao.
3.5 more hrs for me to finish the list to pass down to sz and her sep mates. and tmr afternoon has to store the box in ming's office le. one last day tmr...stupid vincent ask me to go buy jersey for him and his bros..meaning i've to go city centre again..i dunnno go how many times le..and walk the same area..cos always go the sports world. now then ask me buy..becos england scored 2 goals? actually i thot only 1 goal diff leh.. then so heng trin offside so goal not counted.
ok la this match better than the pol and germ de. tat was last night la..these are the only 2 matches i watch lor. then the first one is really anyhow..see ball then kick liao. see le also pekcek..then me and edel left 20min be4 it ended. but the score is at 90min. so duhzzz.. this afternoon's slightly better. i wear the eng jersey over lor.though not mine, but eh i asked for permission be4 borrowing le lor...i still thinking if i should buy the white one or the red one for myself or not buy at all. wahh sehh i went over edel's place to pass her the jerseys i helped her buy then i go over blackwell and also meet up with erik they all then all the bar full le..we walked all the way back to castle leazes again lor..best.. anyway think eng's positioning of players not bad leh. tat's why so many attempts but alot wasted la..ji pekcek.

WHSmith, Waterworks, Blackwell and those small bookstores all dun haf leh..best. and this author supp to be from uk. sighhzz think haf to order online..but really dunno how ex is the total cos still haf vat and shipping fees i think. why she likes to read so much ah? i hate reading books lor.

indoor things i'll miss here
KITCHEN
1. the super hot which can turn my fingers all red
2. the super cold water which cools the pot and tray from the oven immediately such tat i can wash them
3. the super filled fridge
4. the heat stove (cos i use gas stove at home)
5. the oven and grill (cos i dunno why the oven in my house cant be used. it'll trip and cause blackout)
6. the big toaster which can toast 4 slices of bread at one time
7. the can opener which i dunno how to use
8. the microwave with the super loud "ding" when food is done
9. the nice corner window which overseas the cow field
10. all the unwashed dishes left lying around the sink
11. the disappearing of washing liquid at an amazing rate
BATHROOM
1. the super small shower area, just enuff to turn 360 deg on the spot
2. the big sink which i always refill my water boiler and wash my cup
3. the super hot water which i can soak my face towel with, so shiok to put on the face, like those provided on planes
4. the fire break dome which was claimed to be broken, which i din witness at all so refuse to pay 5P for it

1. separate from the bathroom
2. weird position of the toilet bowl facing the wall
3. super small sink really just enuff to wet my hands

1. nice sofa to slp on when the finland sep pple stayed over, otherwise i wont be there
2. the super untidy small table with food and wrappers and unwashed dishes, magazines , coins, scarf, dvds..everything can appear there

MY ROOM
1. spacious
2. the stupid door which refuses to stay open, and makes loud banging noises when pple open the one leading to the living room
3. the super dirty carpet, cos i only vacuum twice?
4. the empty notice board which i totally never use
5. the wardrobe with my unfolded or anyhow folded clothes and rations (can only do this here cos nobody will open and nag after seeing it)
6. the mirror which i always take self portraits pics..haha..zi lian
7. the L-shaped table which helps discipline myself from looking at the 24 hr-working laptop while i study. it is always super untidy, cos i can just leave it like this when i leave the room..can i do this at home pls? anyway clear le will also be untidy again wat.
8. the nice green chair which i spend the most time on
9. the uncomfortable bed with my snuggly slping bag (cos i've no duvet), which faces the window, which i like to stone while staring thru the blinds at the tree outside. bare in winter, white flowers blossomed in spring and summer. the long night in winter, from 430pm to 6am? the short night in summer, from 11pm to 3am. the clear blue sky looks especially beautiful when it's cloudless.
10. the uncomfy pillow donated by ys..haha okok better than nothing.
11. the storeroom corner with all the stuff donated by the chem eng pple last batch, cos edel only took one pot to her room.-_-"

13. the shorter desk with my laptop, water boiler and cooked food which i brought from the kitchen. the best table. got nice coffee or hot choc, laptop to entertain myself with msn chat and watching youtube, research also not very tedious cos i like the spot! and most imptantly digestive biscuits! yummy!
14. the heater which provides me warmth though not really enuff during winter, and dry all my clothes within an hour. but it is off during spring and summer, so the clothes take forever to dry and make me shiver in spring cos still quite cold.
15. the 3 layer shelf which is the neatest from top down. top shelf, only the lan cable. second shelf, 2 neatly stacked notes and my plastic bag of stationery which i dun bother to unpack and some envelopes with train tix. 3rd shelf, the most commented on shelf with rough paper strewn all over, laptop battery, camera's and mp3 player's cables. sweets, some commonly used stationery but the most frequently used one is on the table, some brochures and the hairbands.
16. the side table with the nice nice pooh bear from qingqing, the sweet foreva frens flower from carol and the cutie hamtaro from jacq sis.

last sunday and monday in newcastle
haha yes counting down. haven done anything much these 2 days.
sunday, not really a typical day..basically no typical day ba. always varying. like days be4, during and after exams all different.
rise and shine at 4am. nua in bed till 5. essay on total quality management. yup finally completed it be4 lunch time. yay! wahh sehh super long never write essay le, i took hmm 4-5 days to write a 3200 plus word essay lor..but also becos i only did at most 4 hrs per day, including research la. keep procrastinating lor.anyway no work is engaging de la..though after i watched so many episodes of drama and anime, i also sianz then do work at this time can be quite productive. so i can foresee wat is going to happen in my 4th year doing FYP plus the design project..haizzz..the more i think of it, the more sianzness i feel gushing out at me.
lunch then watch naruto. certain parts not as exciting le.why they never create new stunts for them. always use the same ones. but then the harem no jutsu with ero senin is still farnie. ep 186 with naruto trying hard not to luff also damn farnie. ya i finish all 188 episodes within these 2 days. then i nua in bed..really bed ridden..hahaha..chat abit, surf abit then tried to slp. intermittent slp and on the laptop for erm....from 3pm to monday 730am when i woke up? hahaha..best. when i'm suppose to do my matlab report but well...
monday....yeah morning do the report lor. really leh..only morning productive de..the rest of the day i no mood to do work de lor. done! went sch of biomed sci to finish up the equations cos my stupid laptop dun haf the microsoft eqn which i dunnno whyy...maybe i reinstall office again when i go back. print out..yea haha overdraft alot leh. the essay and the report more than 50 pages lor..nvm foc so i'm not complaining. maybe last time dun even need to go finland print.. ok i lazy to go library and office check if they've the super big stapler but merz court cfm haf so i went there.
i dunno how many storeys i climb lor maybe 6 or 7, i just keep climbing without seeing the office at all la. but then at least i finally know maths and statistic dept is at the top few levels haha..the office is level 4 or 5 la.i entered, the stupid stapler no bullets..i've to call the office person to help refill then when i use it, the thing with the spring blocking the bullets shoots out la...ji malu..but i act as if nothing happened..tried to fix it leh but arghh damn mech engineer dunno how to operate a stapler. ok nvm still can use la without the blocker.
went back room, watch anime and finally found naruto's 8th opening song! re:member. soo nice lor. yay..then i slp till 1830, changed and went chinatown. met ming along the way and waited for keith at the chinatown express leh but he called and said he's at the claypot place liao. so we walked over lor. ate roast duck and chicken claypot rice this time, but i still think the sausage and chicken one nicer, but try something different mah. haha talkign about food while eating..wahhh they really know alot of places with gd food in sg leh..i dun even know anything lor except 85 market and simpang bedok prata -_-". so sua gu. they can talk from west to north to central leh. ji pro. ok jap food at psa building..yumyum..and errr...along arab street got dunno wat. arghh ok i cant rmb..nvm i shall just follow. sighhzzz ming treat again lor..wah seh i think i yi bei zi dou huan bu qing. think the value dunno equal to how meals in sg la. countless lor.

review of nobuta and 1 litre
extracts from wat was said in the show. not super impressive but they come at the right time in the context.
even if i fall to the bottom, life still goes on, cos life doesnt end easily.
if today is a terrible day, there'll be an amazing day someday.
if u believe, anything can happen.
the best was still wat shuji said in the last episode, a different perspective from tat in the 1st episode: everything in the world is a game, thinking that you've lost and giving up halfway, u're stupid, the one who lasts till the end enjoying the game is the winner. tat's probably the rules. the next kiritani shuji, no matter wat happens will not fall.
right..but i'm still not finished with it, so many missing episodes..sighh must find the full set someday. oki next...of cos not in the mood for essay yet but think i gotta start tmr ba. at least it's research and typing, really had enuff of drugs and physio le. and super memory..understanding the concepts is really not good enuff. so yup drama marathon then..one litre of tears...based on a true story of aya who got spinocerebellum atrophy. from physio of cos i know wat is it w/o having to google it. ok zi wo an wei...studying it isnt totally useless after all. atrophy is the breakdown of tissues and the cerebellum which is the back part of the brain with nerve fibres connected to the spinal cord controls coordination of body movements. it's really a cruel disease lor. wheelchair bound, then bed ridden. why cannot just put these patients to slp? if they agree la. i thot it'll be better, to shorten the suffering. the symptoms will show slowly but they'll progress. how can a person witness his own loss of bodily functions day by day? it's like the brain is working perfectly fine leh, but the signals just cant be sent to the muscles. wouldnt it be super pekcek? ya this one i really teared.

after physiology paper...
another paper..well..it's 121 mcq this time and i cant count how times i yawned. similar to the last one...it's either u know the answer or u just haf to guess it. i hope i'll get enuff right answers to pass. it's really madness to memorise everything la.
watching nobuta wo produce..finishing soon i think.
with just the mind u can get things to resolve easily but with the heart can u?
perhaps words can reach out to pple by manipulating their mind and getting things go by the way u wanted, but to manipulate pple's heart? human heart is the most challenging thing to deal with, let alone manipulating it. how do u create happiness, genuine happiness from the bottom of pple's heart? how do u deal with the situation such tat u dun hurt anybody and cause the heart to shatter? it wouldnt be easy to mend it. so prevention is always better than cure.

popularity vs loneliness. just be4 shuji was mistaken as a lousy person, nobuta hugged him and then he said, "i understood now, that i'm a lonely human being". after all the acting and being to be the most popular guy in sch. shortly after, he wasnt the well liked guy as be4. the dejected look stays on his face and being all quiet instead of being out there influencing pple. he said "my words now reach no one, and now i know wat it is like to be not believed by anyone."
it will be scary if no one believes u but it will be even scarier if u've to constantly SHOW pple wat kind of person u are. be it fake or real. if it's real, it'll be very tiring. but if u dun show, u wont haf the opportunities to develop ur own potential. if chances dun come by, u've to create them urself...that's proactiveness. but if it is fake and pple find out tat ur portrayed image and ur character mismatch, tat'll be worse. and it only need ONE incident for a lousy image to remain in pple's heart. unlike the countless no. tat is needed to keep maintaining a good image in human hearts. sighhh this is the society, the world out there and yes this is life. but dun worry, cos everyone is with u in this complexity. u are not alone.

sat morning..exactly 2 wks from now, i'll be on the way to ncl airport le
yea exactly 2 wks from now, i'll be leaving this place for good.
well met up with fred, elaine, jiayi and of cos edel be4 they left for lake district yesterday..supposed to be for lunch, but they caught up with 2 serious jams due to accidents along the way up north from leeds so they reach at abt 3 plus 4. haha edel was pekcek cos they never call to say tat they'll be late, esp when they say they'll reach at 12! haha big difference. so edel called them lor. they still on highway. so no more tynemouth fish n chips le liao..in the end we ate the chinese buffet again and this time it's at 6.50P (1600-1800) instead of 5.50P (1145-1600)..with 3 new dishes, lemon chicken, mussels and beef meat balls. the rest still the same. so how many times haf i eaten tat? i think abt 5 times? finally sick of it not gg to eat that for the next 2 wks here. well we chop chop finish within an hr so tat no need to pay parking fee for the 2nd hr and the inspections done here are super efficient de. they dropped me off at the いつも どころ (itsumo dokoro = usual place where we always meet in english), the junction along richardson road, i think i'll miss tat spot. then they went to edel's place to pack up stuff in preparation to ship back home. cos excess baggage may cost more, but then the box like quite small leh for 26P shipping fee.
well morning paper, the rest of the day is really gone, come back from paper ...msn chat and finish the jap drama beautiful life..haha i really can take a super long time to watch. not that it's not interesting but ermm..i also dunno why. super full from dinner, really tired tat's why din go over edel's place and watch them pack but well also becos i dun wanna add to the crowd in the small room. tired and slpy but too full to lie down, continued chatting and i still did some statics in hope of diminishing the feeling of bloatedness.
beautiful life. nice show...i'll really want to watch it again on tv! a bigger screen..maybe then i'll cry. i only teared 2 times at the part when kimura put on make up for her and asked why the touch of her felt so cold. and when the bro sincerely thanked him for letting her die in peace. then i thot i very heartless cos amy said she teared most of the time. cherishing wat u haf and living life to the fullest... even she knows tat she's dying, still she dun need special effort from her bro to bring her to travel n from shiuij to stop working and stay by her side everyday...it's the mundane everyday activities tat will leave the deepest impression, let everything be in its usual and natural state. love is really not a tangible possession. perhaps it's really the memories tat matter, the person will still live in ur heart even though she's gone from the world. so make sure tat everyday is lived with no regrets.

yup first paper over. die le la..their exam really super easy...just feed every single word from the notes into the brain can le...no need thinking at all..but then i cant rmb a single thing and if wanna score, the preparation is gg to be torturous la..so obviously i skip the sufferings...but then now abit regret la..hahaha. i only read thru 3 times, so really depends on my subciousness leh..just too lazy le..but then really no point wat. wat's the use of memorising. and they ask qns like....
