PS: I’m typing this in word doc, right after the previous entry in the departure lounge in heathrow, waiting for my BA flight to Newcastle. Whoa I’m super hungry. It’s 1320 london and 2120 singapore. Sigh the wireless need to pay one, so I’ll cut and paste later.
Reached at 0540 london time. Spent 1.5 hr being interrogated and at the baggage reclaim. Argh at the customs, so many questions asked, half of the time I was requesting for her to repeat, very strong accent lor. I thought it’s my fault and I’m gg to suffer here but then later all the other 6 airport staffs I’ve met, I can understand perfectly, so it’s the first staff’s fault. Next time I dun want to check in so early le la. I was one of the last few to get my bags off the belt lor. But actually I dun mind cos my flight’s at 1430. so late! However, the most pek cek thing is those tall pple, stand rite in front. I cant even see. Then if they dun move abt still nvm lor. I was like standing on my trolley trying to peep thru the heads, swaying side by side with them. irritated.
I pushed abt 40 kg stuff from t3 to t1 in heathrow. It’s abt the dist of sg’s t1 to t2 w/o skytrain, not so bad liao. T4 is the furthest. Need to take bus one. This walk was super cold. Cos I only haf my red jacket on. So amy u really haf to put on ur thick coat on plane before alighting. I just braved thru the cold and walked all the way. Wasn’t too bad cos by the time I reached t1 I was panting like mad alr, so many ramps!!! And they turn and turn lor. So difficult to control the trolley, a lot of inertia leh. Lucky I’m strong. bhb. Haha
My attempts to check in online for brit air is useless. I still cant check in early, they say they’ve a lot of luggage to manage so I’ve to wait till 12. ok great, I cfm cant travel out of the airport le lor unless I pay 48 sg bucks at the left luggage area. Nvm I shall save money. Oh very throw face I asked the wrong airline company lor. The moment I enter the departure hall I only see bmi star alliance. Who knows wat is it. The person is there so I go ask then he directed me to the self check in kiosks. I cant log in so I ask the lady there, then she said “it’s a different company. It’s over there.” I sensed the silence “duh” from her. Sad case. When I walked further then I saw british airways, aer lingus etc, all never hear be4 other than BA lor. I got my boarding pass. Funnily I found myself trying to articulate clearer when I speak to them leh. Haha maybe I want a similar type of response, else I’ll be hah-ing them most of the time.
Ok ktv alone in heathrow. With pple walking back and forth as the screen. mostly quite good looking. And some really look abt the same lor. One eg is the staff at the info counter and another at the check in counter, I thought the person run over leh. Then I look back she’s still there at the info counter leh. Weird. So many twins ard.
Some are also waiting but still not as long as mine. But they keep patrolling and parading leh. Why dun they sit down? Ok, I shouldn’t haf that thought, cos immed after that, a person provided me aroma therapy, either he din bathe or he din wash his coat. Abt 30 min later, luckily, another person came to sit beside me and he was eating orange. So citrus-sy. Nice smell. It’s 0910. I’ve stoned and tried entertaining myself for so long but not 2 hrs passed. Sigh….
Need to go toilet…the guy sat beside me for abt 1 hr plus le, I finally decided to ask him help me look after the luggage. But he just suddenly self intro. Ok he’s a post grad gg erm Manchester if I din hear wrongly. Think he said he studying something like hotel management Cant really catch. and he’s from Calcutta. Ok he’s a student so safer, I asked him again if he can help me look after luggage for a while, finally he said if I can come back in 5 min then ok. Weird rite? Of cos I came back very soon and we chatted more. Then half an hour later he went to board his plane.
Ok I’ve decided to roam around, dragging my luggage. I found the taxi stand and bus stops. not even 3 mins. I was shivering like mad outside. Ok I quickly went in, zip up my coat and then out from another exit. And I realized I cant leave the terminal without using the stairs or escalators. The place when I came from is one way from the arrival hall. So ok, I waited at another area, in case the shop owners stare at me again. Now 2pm ok I better check if my flight’s gate is open. It suppose to close at 210 leh.
